Adam Stevens

Adam is an experienced consultant specialising in the UK rail sector, with a strong focus on rail demand, revenue and performance analysis. Since joining Steer, he has worked on a wide range of high-profile projects, developing expertise in project management, data processing, modelling and interpretation, alongside a deep understanding of rail demand trends, fare evasion, station usage and revenue recovery post-COVID.

Adam has extensive experience delivering revenue and demand forecasting for public and private sector clients, including the DfT and train operating companies. He is highly experienced in ticketless travel surveys, having managed and directed numerous surveys across UK rail networks, overseeing fieldwork, analysis, modelling and reporting to deliver clear, actionable insights. He has also led major station-focused commissions, including ORR’s annual Estimates of Station Usage and strategy work for RDG and Network Rail, as well as supporting international rail projects.
