Alberto has 20 year's experience in European funding for transport and logistics and has worked on over 50 EU-funded projects across different modes and services. He successfully delivered numerous high value EU projects (circa 1 to 5 million Euros).

At Steer, Alberto leads the team providing technical assistance and consultancy services to public and private organisations benefiting from EU funding for the transport sector in Italy and across other EU member states. Alberto managed projects for the European Parliament Committee on Transport and Tourism.

Alberto’s key areas of specialisation include freight transport and logistics, and maritime transport. He coordinated multiple projects focussed on logistics planning and policies, commercial due diligence, market analyses, and providing strategic advice to clients. He delivered economic and financial analyses of new port infrastructures, including the assessment of their wider economic and environmental impacts.
