Lisa Martin

Lisa has over 30 years of experience in transport planning. She specialises in delivering sustainable mobility through designing and implementing travel behaviour change strategies and programmes that involve education, incentives and infrastructure interventions. She has advised local, regional and central government, as well as private sector clients across a broad spectrum of behaviour change studies. 

At Steer, she has led teams and supported clients delivering projects in the UK, the US, Canada and Australia. She is passionate about sharing good practices and applying those to local settings. 

Lisa’s expertise includes Airport Surface Access and Ground Transportation. She has worked with airports in the UK and the US to facilitate safe, convenient and sustainable journeys by passengers and employees to airports. She has experience working directly for the airport (Heathrow Airport Limited) as well as in consultancy roles.
