Martin joined Steer from Jacobs in January 2014, where he completed a Masters in Transport Planning and Practice at the University of Surrey. Martin has wide ranging expertise in Development Planning projects, Multi-modal Transport Studies and Scheme Appraisals. He has secured planning permission for both small and large scale projects, including residential-led re-development schemes for Streatham Vale Homebase (Lambeth) and Blenheim Shopping Centre (Penge), the re-development of West One Shopping Centre (Westminster), the discharge of planning conditions and Reserved Matters for the Wood Wharf Masterplan (Canary Wharf), other consents within the Canary Wharf Estate, and various warehousing and logistics schemes.
Martin works in our Development Planning and Design Division in the UK and is a highly proficient and dependable Project Director who has worked for a range of Clients including Canary Wharf Group, Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, Barratt London, Romulus Construction Limited, British Land and Transport for London.
