Mayra is an architect and urban planner specializing in strategies that enhance public spaces, strengthen urban commons, and promote sustainable mobility.
At Steer, she contributes to projects focused on active mobility and sustainable urban planning, bringing a strong foundation in spatial and urban analysis to guide interventions that improve public spaces and pedestrian infrastructure. She has served as Project Manager for initiatives such as the TOD Masterplan for Regiotram and the integration of mass transit and bicycle infrastructure in Lima. Her experience also includes supporting the development of mobility masterplans for cities including Manizales, Pereira, Bogotá, and AMVA, helping shape practical, place-led solutions that support more connected and people-centered urban environments.
