Read moreFor over 20 years, Sharon has managed and directed projects and advised public and private sector clients on transport strategy, financing, governance and major investment delivery. Her experience covers the spectrum of transport project development from strategy and investment plans through to the attainment of finance, funding and planning consents.
Sharon began her career in government working for the Department for Transport in South Australia where she focused on forward investment strategies. She moved to the UK in 2000, taking a leading role in the development of transport strategy and planning at Steer. Her career has spanned a range of high profile secondment positions, within client organisations. Recent highlights include the study Sharon led advising the National Infrastructure Commission on the case for Crossrail 2, and the TWA work she directed for Bank Station capacity upgrade, which went unopposed at public inquiry.
As the firm’s COO, Sharon’s focus will be to manage the operational aspects across the company’s 20 offices in Europe, North America, South America and India.
