Shipra has over 12 years of experience in transport consulting and public policy across the toll roads, e-mobility, urban transport and ports sectors.
Shipra is an economist who specialises in traffic econometric modelling and demand and revenue forecasting. At Steer, she has worked on and managed the delivery of several buy-side, sell-side, and fair market valuation studies and produced investment-grade forecasts.
Prior to Steer, Shipra worked at the Ministry of Shipping, primarily in policy-making and India Infrastructure Publishing, where she co-authored several transport research reports, including ‘Ports in India’, ‘Smart Cities in India’, ‘Tunnelling Market in India’, and ‘Urban Rail in India’.
At Steer, Shipra manages transaction advisory and traffic and revenue forecasting assignments, primarily in toll roads and urban transport (metro and e-mobility). Her clients are spread across India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Indonesia. She has experience in undertaking market assessments for electric mobility across various geographies and proposing recommendations to overcome policy, regulatory, institutional, and financial barriers to accelerate e-mobility transition.
She has experience in undertaking engagement and policy dialogue with diverse sets of stakeholders, such as government agencies (central and state), educational institutions, the private sector, and international organisations.
