Michael Snavely joins Steer

We are excited to welcome Michael Snavely to Steer as an Associate Director in the Bay Area. Mike has a proven track record of delivering challenging projects for clients such as LA Metro (Measure M Project Prioritization, Long Range Transportation Plan, Mobility Matrices, Gateway Cities Strategic Transportation Plan, Rail Network Integration) and Caltrans (California Transportation Plan 2050, California State Rail Plans, California Active Transportation Plans), among others.

In California and nationally, Mike has driven growth in a consultancy practice and collaborated with teams delivering a diverse array of high-profile transportation projects that include strategic visioning and goal-setting; forecasting and data analytics; stakeholder coordination; scenario planning; and programming. He’s deployed his expertise with Caltrans, LA Metro, MTC, SCAG, BART, SANDAG, Oregon DOT, Nevada DOT, Hawaii DOT,  and others in transit policy and planning, governance, performance evaluation, strategic planning, corridor planning, and rail planning.

Mike will be playing a key role on our major projects in Northern California as he works with colleagues to grow our team in the Bay Area.
