By Steer

SDG’s Roberta Frisoni addressed the EU parliament Transport Committee last Tuesday to present analyses of the European freight cabotage transport services in the EU.

In front of an audience of committee members including EU parliament members and other stakeholders, she discussed the main changes that have occurred in this market in recent years and the major factors which have brought about this change, such as, the entry into force of Regulation (EC) No 1072/2009 and the gradual opening of the market to the new Member States that joined the EU in the 2004 and 2007 enlargement.
