Cogenest S.r.l. is a company 100% owned by Iniziative Biometano S.p.A., a joint venture between Snam group and Femogas S.p.A. active in the biomethane sector.
On April 30 2020, Banco BPM announced the successful completion of the financing agreement; Banco BPM will provide a long-term project finance loan, a VAT financing line and a working capital facility for a total of around EUR 13.0m.
The plant has a production capacity of 499 Smc/h and is expected to produce biomethane through the processing of zootechnical wastes.
