Steer is delighted to announce the appointment of Paulos Lakew as an Associate in our Los Angeles office.
Paulos, an economic transportation specialist spanning both the private and public sectors brings expertise of planning, environmental and public policy issues that affect airports and the broader transportation industry.
Paulos has led the development of economic impact, rental car feasibility and traffic forecasts for airports across North America including Philadelphia, St Louis and San Diego International as well valuing the benefits for Austin and Long Beach airports. Paulos is also a steering group member of the Airports Council International-North America, focusing on economic and financial issues, including the impacts of COVID-19. Earlier in his career, Paulos also worked at the California Air Resources Board where he comprehensively assessed the economic impacts of proposed major regulations including carbon emissions trading.
At Steer, Paulos will lead the development of our growing North America economics team.
