Steer has once again been named as one of the Gold Talent, inclusion and Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) award winners by enei (Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion) in recognition of our outstanding commitment to a safe, diverse working environment for all.

Enei is the UK's leading employer network covering all aspects of equality and inclusion in the workplace and helps organisations on their diversity journey. TIDE is their assessment and benchmarking tool allowing companies to measure their approach and progress across areas including workforce, leadership and accountability and recruitment and attraction.

This year enei had a record number of entries at a total of 171. Out of these 16 received the Gold TIDE award with Steer’s fellow winners including West Midlands Police, the Elizabeth Line and North East Ambulance Service.

Steer has been a proud member of enei since 2016. We aim to be a company where the best global talent wants to work and can contribute, develop and succeed. Being more representative means that we are better able to serve our clients and the communities in which we operate, bringing a wider range of experiences and views to our work.

We are committed to providing equality of opportunity and reward for all our employees, so we must safeguard a culture that ensures equality, diversity and inclusivity.

“At Steer, we work across critical services and infrastructure, from mobility to renewables and technology to education, and we are dedicated to securing economic, environmental and social equity through our practice,” says Steer COO Sharon Daly.

“Every day we collaborate around the world to solve problems and strive to deliver ambitious ideas that nobody else would consider."

“We are pleased to again be awarded the TIDE Gold Standard by enei, but for us it is our outcomes that count, so we continue to focus on our overall aim of being a company that is representative of the communities in which we live and work."

“Our commitment to achieving the best results through a fulfilled and diverse workforce as well as an inclusive work environment is unwavering.”
