As an employee-owned, independent, and geographically diverse organisation, we shape our own dynamic future. Our team is united by a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and inclusivity.
We aim to be a company where global talent can build meaningful careers and make a positive impact.
Our commitment
At Steer, equality, diversity, and inclusion are central to our success. A more representative workforce enables us to better serve our clients and the communities in which we operate.
By embracing a broad range of experiences, perspectives, and ideas, we strengthen our work and create greater value.
We are committed to fostering equality of opportunity and reward, while maintaining a culture that prioritises inclusivity and respect.
Measuring our progress
We assess our EDI performance in line with the UK Equality Act 2010, which covers nine protected characteristics: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, and sex.
We also benchmark our progress across all geographies against:
- The private sector (particularly professional services)
- Our industry peers
- The communities we serve
Our latest DEIA Report reflects this commitment and includes key insights such as our Gender Pay Gap analysis.
