New starters at Steer Davies Gleave

John Hocking joins SDG`s London office as a senior consultant with experience in localised transport modelling and planning. He previously worked as a traffic engineer for Colin Buchanan, where he played a role in the £6.1m Corby Northern Link Road project in Northamptonshire to help bring forward 5200 houses in the area. At SDG, John will be working on the London Bus Priority Network and other traffic-related projects.

Clare Neal joins SDG`s London office as senior consultant focusing on cartographic and wayfinding projects. Previously working at travel information solutions provider Pindar Graphics as a new media cartographer, she has worked on several major mapping and interactive travel information jobs for a variety of local authorities, bus and rail operators, Transport for London and the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive.

Assistant consultant Vicky Spencer is based in SDG`s Leeds office and is experienced in delivering Smarter Choices techniques. Prior to joining, Vicky was on an 18 month contract with SDG in Darlington`s Local Motion project office, where she was a travel planner. In this role she developed resources to encourage behaviour change, produced personal journey plans and worked as a school travel plan officer, where she consulted teachers, parents and pupils on their travel behaviour.
